In Canada, we have some nights that are so nice out we would like to stay outside longer but the chill in the air takes us inside. The Veito® Blade infrared 1500W heater is designed for indoor or outdoor use, as it has an IP55 rating and it can be easily mounted with the brackets that come with the unit. There is also a stand available that makes the heater easily portable so that you can use it outside and then move it inside for year-round use.
If the unit is mounted outside, then that is the only place to use it. By purchasing the optional Veito® stand you can enjoy the heater outside on the patio for those evenings with a chill but you can move it inside as well to heat a space that is chilly. To be able to move the stand with the heater mounted you now have a more versatile heat source that can heat any space. I have used the Veito® Blade infrared heater as a patio heater outside and as a space heater in my basement, garage, at the cottage and when camping as well.
If I did not purchase the stand then I would only be able to use it in one location; being able to move the unit has meant that I have an energy efficient heat source that heats many spaces and saves me money on my heating bill and keeps me comfortable all year long. I did purchase a second unit and mounted it permanently in my basement family room as the space can have a chill all year long but I still enjoy having the Veito® standing heater for portable heat.
